LINEAR DOORS™ is not another company that sells doors by importation we make doors. We consider our doors “works of Architects” – every detail is carefully engineered and essential.

LINEAR DOORS (TM) are NIGERIAN contemporary door maker and an innovative, limited liability company that run by a young, innovative team of architects and engineers. With a purpose design-led philosophy, we handcraft beautiful natural hardwood doors exclusive to us, right here in our workshop in Nigeria.

Despite our proud "Made in Nigeria” status, we are the first to campaign that made in Nigerian product should be the first option for any building and real estate development projects in line to encourage our indigenous products among the Nigerian nation.

BEST HARDWOODS FOR A WOODEN DOORS

Traditionally in NIGERIA, hardwoods are found in the forests, spanning from Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Edo and most Eastern and Northern states. A few examples of such hardwoods are Iroko, walnuts, cedar etc.

Visitors in collaboration with the locals visits these locations to log the woods every day for export to their countries. This is probably because hardwood is readily available in Nigerian forests and is a very durable and attractive wooden economy.

Let me state categorically that Nigerian woods are organically grown and this explains the massive influx of Chinese in their bids to tap from our natural heritage. Nigerian wooden doors are hundred percent organic and accounts for its durability and aesthetics as seen in Linear wooden doors.

At LINEAR DOORS we choose our woods based on a few different criteria:

  • We only choose hardwood which has been sawn to our size as this gives the wood strength.
  • It has to have a long dry kiln time or Natural drying time to reduce cracking and moisture in the hardwood.
  • How durable it is to use outdoors – ie how much maintaining it needs.
  • Its natural aesthetics and how easy it is to match to other wooden materials.
